ABOUT REDIAL CLINIC
ReDiaL Clinic is a metabolic reversal and lifestyle medicine clinic in South Delhi. We work with patients dealing with Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension, PCOS, and Obesity — not to manage their conditions, but to reverse them. The approach is doctor-led, evidence-based, and integrated across nutrition, fitness, and clinical care.
Our patients are typically between 35 and 65, carrying years of medication dependence and a deep fatigue with conventional care. They come to us for a structured, medically supervised programme that addresses the root — insulin resistance — rather than the surface. Most are not fitness-first people. Almost all of them are motivated to get better.
WHAT THIS ROLE IS
The Health Coach is an integral part of the Service and Operations team at ReDiaL, with direct responsibility for reversing metabolic disorders in every patient they are assigned. Working closely with the Doctor, this role is the patient’s primary point of contact for everything outside the clinical consultation — from the first assessment to the final review.
The work spans patient assessment, nutrition and fitness planning, structured 7–10 day reviews, and real-time programme adjustments based on compliance and clinical outcomes. The Health Coach does not hand off to other specialists — they carry both pillars end to end, in close coordination with the Doctor who leads the programme and owns the clinical direction.
This is a role with direct accountability for patient outcomes. The patient population is metabolically unwell. The programme runs for 3–6 months. The Health Coach who will perform here is someone who brings clinical seriousness to both nutrition and fitness, and the relational consistency to hold a patient’s trust across the full duration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS (KRAs)

Responsibility Area
What This Means in Practice
1
Patient Onboarding & Baseline Assessment
Conduct structured onboarding assessments for new patients — covering dietary patterns, activity levels, metabolic history, body composition, and lifestyle factors. Build a detailed patient profile that anchors the plan. Participate in the collective initial consultation alongside the Doctor.
2
Nutrition Planning & Therapeutic Diet Design
Design individualised, evidence-based nutrition plans calibrated to each patient's metabolic condition — T2D, PCOS, obesity, hypertension — with insulin resistance as the constant lens. Plans must be practical, sustainable, and aligned with the clinical direction set by the Doctor.
3
Fitness Guidance & Movement Integration
Provide structured fitness guidance as part of the patient's overall programme — movement recommendations, activity progressions, and lifestyle habits that complement the nutrition plan. The level of depth will reflect your certification and experience, but the expectation is genuine engagement with the fitness pillar, not a surface-level overlay.
4
Review Cycles & Plan Adjustments
Run structured patient reviews every 7–10 days — assessing compliance, interpreting results, and adjusting both nutrition and fitness components based on what the data shows. Reviews happen internally with the Doctor and directly with the patient. Changes to the plan must be grounded in outcomes, not assumptions.
5
Internal Team Coordination
Work closely with the Doctor as a two-person pod. Flag clinical concerns early, align on trajectory, and participate in internal reviews. The patient's progress is a shared accountability — not segmented by role.
6
Patient Communication & Engagement
Build genuine, consistent relationships with patients. Communicate clearly on plans, progress, and adjustments. Re-engage patients who are losing compliance before they drift. The goal is not just knowledge transfer — it is sustained behaviour change across a 3–6 month programme.
7
Documentation & Platform Use
Maintain accurate, updated records of every patient's plan, review notes, and progress data on the designated platform. Documentation is not a formality — it is the source of truth for clinical decisions and trajectory tracking.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Someone who is serious about at least one of the two domains — nutrition or fitness — and has genuine working knowledge of the other. The background could be nutrition-first, with a strong understanding of how movement and exercise interact with metabolic recovery. Or it could be fitness-first, with a real grasp of therapeutic nutrition and how dietary intervention drives the clinical outcomes we are after. Both paths lead to the same place if the depth is there.
What does not work here is a strong specialisation in one domain with only a passing familiarity with the other. The patient needs both. The review cycle covers both. The conversations with the Doctor cover both. If one pillar is hollow, it will show in the outcomes.
The two things that will define performance in this role: clinical rigour in planning and reviewing, and relational consistency with patients who need to trust you over a long programme. Both are non-negotiable.
- Nutrition plans that are therapeutic, personalised, and grounded in metabolic science — not generic templates
- Reviews that are honest and specific — adjustments based on data, not patient preference
- Fitness guidance that is integrated with the nutrition plan, not treated as a separate add-on
- Patient relationships that are warm, consistent, and built to last the programme duration
- Documentation that is current, accurate, and clinically useful
- A working partnership with the Doctor that is proactive and aligned — not siloed
QUALIFICATIONS & BACKGROUND
REQUIRED
- Formal degree or qualification in Nutrition, Dietetics, Exercise Science, or a related health discipline — in whichever domain is your primary background
- Certification in Nutrition (IDA, ACN, INFS, Precision Nutrition, or equivalent) OR in Fitness (CPT — ACE, NASM, ACSM, ISSA, or equivalent) — at least one is mandatory
- 5+ years of hands-on patient or client-facing experience in nutrition counselling, fitness coaching, health coaching, or a combination
- Direct exposure to metabolic conditions — T2D, PCOS, obesity, hypertension — whether through dietary planning, fitness programming, or integrated care
- If your primary background is nutrition: working knowledge of movement, exercise programming, and how physical activity drives metabolic recovery — practical, not just conceptual
- If your primary background is fitness: working knowledge of therapeutic nutrition, dietary planning for metabolic conditions, and how food and insulin response interact — practical, not just conceptual
- Genuine understanding of insulin resistance as the root mechanism across metabolic disorders — this is the clinical lens that runs through everything at ReDiaL
- Ability to manage a structured plan-and-review cycle: design the plan, communicate it clearly, track compliance, interpret results, and adjust — consistently, across a 3–6 month programme
- Warm, credible, and consistent with patients — especially those who are not health-first by nature and need to be brought along, not just instructed
PREFERRED — STRONG ADVANTAGE
- Certified in both Nutrition and Fitness — this is the strongest possible profile for this role
- Experience delivering both nutrition and fitness as a unified, integrated service to the same patient — not two parallel tracks
- Background in a clinical, medically supervised, or therapeutic wellness environment
- Familiarity with metabolic and health technology — CGMs, wearables, HRV monitors, body composition tools
- Comfortable with digital health platforms and structured documentation for plan management and outcome tracking
- Working knowledge of behaviour change and long-term compliance — understanding why patients drift, and how to bring them back before they disengage
WHAT WE OFFER
- A role with real clinical weight — you are not a peripheral support function, you are half the delivery team
- Patients who are genuinely motivated to reverse their condition — people who have come to ReDiaL because they want a real outcome, not just a plan
- Direct clinical collaboration with a doctor, in a programme where your work has measurable outcomes — HbA1c drops, medication reductions, weight and BP normalisation
- Competitive compensation in the range of INR 6–15 Lakhs Per Annum, based on qualifications and experience
- A growing clinic with a clear model — the service delivery structure is being built now, and you will be part of shaping how it runs
