About:At Ariko Preschool & Daycare, we are building a modern early learning environment for children aged 2 to 6 years - combining structured curriculum, child-led exploration, and strong parent partnerships.
We are not just a preschool, we are creating a thoughtfully designed foundation for early childhood development.
Role Overview:We are looking for a Headmistress/ Centre Head who can take complete ownership of the preschool - leading academics, team management, daily operations, and admissions. This is a high-responsibility leadership role for someone who is deeply passionate about early education and enjoys building and managing a centre end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities:Academic Leadership & Curriculum- Implement and oversee curriculum (NEP-aligned with Playway / Montessori / Reggio Emilia / EYFS-inspired approaches)
- Ensure strong lesson planning, classroom delivery, and learning outcomes
- Conduct regular classroom observations, teacher evaluations, and training
- Maintain high standards of child engagement and development
Centre Operations & Team Management- Manage day-to-day operations of the preschool
- Lead, mentor, and supervise teachers and support staff
- Ensure safety, hygiene, and discipline standards are consistently maintained
- Oversee scheduling, attendance, and smooth centre functioning
Admissions & Parent Engagement- Conduct school tours and parent interactions
- Drive admissions through strong counselling and relationship-building
- Build trust-based relationships with parents and handle queries effectively
- Ensure consistent communication regarding child progress and development
Administration & Compliance- Maintain student records, reports, and documentation
- Ensure adherence to internal processes and quality standards
- Coordinate with management on reporting and performance tracking
Candidate Profile:- Minimum 5+ years of experience in preschool / early childhood education
- Prior experience in a leadership role (Centre Head / Coordinator / Academic Lead) preferred
- Strong understanding of early childhood pedagogy (ages 2–6)
- Experience in parent engagement and admissions processes
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage centre operations
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Candidates based in Delhi NCR preferred
Educational Qualifications:- Graduate (mandatory)
- ECCE / NTT / Montessori certification (preferred)
- B.Ed. or Master’s in Education (good to have)
