About The Role

The Warehouse Operations Manager will own end-to-end warehousing and material flow operations for lithium-ion cell manufacturing at Reliance New Energy Initiatives Jamnagar Manufacturing Division. The role is critical in managing highly automated warehouse systems including ASRS, AGVs, and digital WMS platforms, ensuring uninterrupted production, inventory accuracy, full traceability, and mobility-grade compliance at GWh scale.

Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end warehouse operations for raw materials, WIP, finished goods, spares, and consumables

Manage inbound, storage, internal movement, and outbound logistics using ASRS, AGVs, and automated material handling systems

Ensure accurate inventory control for CAM, anode materials, electrolyte, separators, and critical consumables

Optimize ASRS performance, AGV utilization, and automated storageretrieval cycles

Drive warehouse digitization through WMS, barcode/RFID, and ERP integration

Implement SOPs and best practices aligned with automotive and mobility-grade manufacturing

Ensure EHS, statutory, and hazardous material compliance in automated warehouse operations

Enable traceability, batch control, FIFO/FEFO, and lot genealogy for mobility-grade compliance

Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Planning teams for line readiness

Lead teams, vendors, and system integrators; support commissioning and GWh-scale ramp-up

Drive continuous improvement in inventory accuracy, space utilization, TAT, and cost.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline

Postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Logistics is an added advantage

15+ years of experience, 10+ in Warehousing / Manufacturing Operations managing large-scale, high-volume facilities, with 5+ years in advanced warehousing processes and automation (ASRS, WMS-driven operations, material handling systems) | Desired 3+ years in Lithium-Ion battery, energy storage, or advanced manufacturing industries.
