Job Title: Head / Senior Manager – Business Development, Sales & Marketing (Infrastructure & Gabion Focus)

Role Overview
We are looking for a senior leader with deep experience in infrastructure, EPC, construction materials, and gabion manufacturing/solutions.
This role requires strong expertise in:
- Infrastructure project lifecycle
- Government tendering and institutional sales
- Gabion products, manufacturing processes, and applications (retaining walls, river training, slope protection, etc.)
- The candidate will drive end-to-end business development for project-based sales, with a focus on scaling the company’s presence in gabion and geotechnical infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Infrastructure & Gabion Business Development
Drive business for gabion products and solutions across infrastructure segments such as:
- Roads & highways
- Railways
- River & flood protection
- Mining & slope stabilization
- Identify and close opportunities with EPC contractors, infrastructure developers, and government bodies
- Build a strong pipeline of project-based, high-value opportunities
2. Tendering & Institutional Sales
Lead tender participation, bid strategy, and pricing inputs for gabion-based projects
Work closely with:
- Government departments (PWD, NHAI, irrigation, railways)
- Consultants and design firms
- Enable specification inclusion of gabion solutions at design stage
3. Sales Strategy & Execution
- Build a structured sales strategy aligned with infra project cycles and manufacturing capacity
- Manage long sales cycles and ensure high conversion of large-value deals (₹1 Cr – ₹10 Cr+)
- Drive accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue planning
4. Market Development & Product Positioning
- Position the company as a leading manufacturer and solution provider of gabions in India
- Educate clients and consultants on technical advantages of gabion systems vs alternatives
- Identify new applications and markets for gabion products
5. Manufacturing & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and design teams
- Align sales pipeline with production planning and capacity utilization
- Provide market feedback for product innovation and customization
6. Team Leadership
- Build and lead a focused infra & gabion BD team
- Drive performance through KPIs, reviews, and accountability systems
Candidate Profile (Strict Criteria)
Mandatory (Non-Negotiable)
- 8–15 years experience in infrastructure / EPC / construction materials / gabion manufacturing or related sectors
- Strong experience in project-based B2B sales and tendering
- Proven exposure to gabion products OR similar construction/geotechnical materials
- Existing network with EPC contractors, consultants, and government agencies
