Job Description
- Define and lead the end-to-end supply chain strategy to ensure timely and cost-effective availability of products across all retail and distribution points
- Oversee vendor selection, negotiation, and management to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
- Monitor and analyse supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards across all supply chain activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain goals with business objectives.
- Manage and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions or delays.
- Leverage technology and tools to streamline supply chain processes and enhance transparency.
- Lead and mentor the supply chain team to foster a high-performing work environment.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of SCM should have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Logistics or related discipline. MBA preferred.
- 12-15 years of experience in end-to-end supply chain management, preferably within luxury retail or jewellery. Minimum 4-5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate supply chain metrics and develop actionable strategies.
- Exposure of working on inventory analytics tools.
- Knowledge of compliance standards and risk management in supply chain operations.
