Job Title: Head – R&D / Product Development

Role Overview
As Tint Tone and Shade enters its next phase of growth, we are building stronger capabilities in product innovation, material development, and scalable design systems.
We are looking for a visionary Head – R&D / Product Development who can lead this transformation by bringing new materials, global exposure, and structured product thinking into our interior solutions. This role will play a critical part in shaping how our kitchens, wardrobes, and interior systems are designed, built, and delivered.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Innovation & Development
- Lead end-to-end product development across kitchens, wardrobes, storage systems, and custom interior solutions
- Build and evolve modular product systems aligned with business scalability
- Drive innovation in design, functionality, and user experience
2. Material Research & Innovation
- Research and introduce new materials, finishes, and technologies
- Evaluate performance, cost, and durability of materials
- Lead new material launches and integration into product lines
3. Global Sourcing & Vendor Development
- Explore international sourcing opportunities for materials, hardware, and finishes
- Build and manage vendor relationships across domestic and global markets
- Identify innovative suppliers to enhance product differentiation
4. Product Systems & Standardization
- Develop technical standards, module libraries, and construction frameworks
- Create scalable and repeatable product systems
- Ensure consistency across projects and geographies
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Design, Operations, Procurement, and Leadership teams
- Translate business requirements into product solutions
- Enable seamless execution from concept to installation
6. Cost, Quality & Efficiency Optimization
- Improve manufacturability and installation efficiency
- Enhance product durability and lifecycle performance
- Optimize cost structures without compromising quality
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in Interiors, Modular Furniture, Kitchens, Wardrobes, or Product Development
- Strong exposure to materials, hardware, and interior product systems
- Proven experience in material sourcing and vendor development
- Exposure to international materials, suppliers, or global product trends is highly preferred
- Experience in building scalable product systems is a strong advantage
