Rakon India is looking for an experienced and dynamic Head - Quality (Senior Manager) to lead Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Supplier Quality, Customer Quality, and Quality Management Systems across our advanced electronics manufacturing operations.
This is a strategic leadership role for a quality professional who is passionate about driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and world-class quality standards.
Experience
15+ years in Quality Management within Electronics Manufacturing, including at least 10 years in leadership/managerial roles.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Lead end-to-end Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions
✅ Drive customer, supplier, product, and process quality excellence
✅ Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, EHS, and regulatory requirements
✅ Lead certifications, internal and external audits, and quality improvement initiatives
✅ Manage customer complaints, 8D reports, RMAs, corrective and preventive actions
✅ Develop and mentor high-performing quality teams
✅ Implement Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, SPC, FMEA, and continuous improvement programs
✅ Partner with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to achieve best-in-class quality performance
Desired Profile
✔ Proven experience in electronics manufacturing
✔ Strong exposure to SMT/PTH processes, PCB assemblies, product integration, and testing
✔ Expertise in Supplier Quality Management and Incoming Quality Control
✔ Knowledge of IPC-A-610, IPC-600, ISO standards, ESD/MSD requirements, FMEA, Control Plans, and Root Cause Analysis methodologies
✔ Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
