Job Position: Head Projects (DG Sets)
Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka
Job Role:
A senior leader responsible for Execution of Projects for all segments under
Power & Energy (viz. Electric Power, Marine, Petroleum & Industrial) right from
order handing over to commissioning and handing over of the project to the
end User.
This particular role requires close interactions with the sales and commercial
teams in the negotiation phase for the overall budgetary quote, tender bidding
etc. Upon winning the project the role requires end to end procurement and
vendor management for the execution and delivery of the project.
The responsibility includes but is not limited to:
o Pre order Engineering and Application studies
o Preparation of technical Proposal for Balance of Plant including Cost
Estimation
o Timely Execution of Projects meeting the quality standards and project
specific requirements
o Commercial closure of projects.
Qualification & Experience:
The Candidate shall be a Graduate Engineer in Engineering with at least 20+
years of Experience in Handling Projects involving supply, Installation and
commissioning of DG sets and allied systems, Diesel engines in other
applications.
The interested candidate should possess good Technical Knowledge on Diesel
Engines, related Applications and Sizing of Auxiliary systems of Diesel Engines.
The candidate should also have good Project management and interpersonal
skills and commercial knowledge related to projects.
The candidate should be able a communicator and should be able to work with
CXOs and L1s of CXOs in the company.
The candidate should be having good commercial knowledge for the vendor
procurement and negotiations.
