Role Description :
The Head - Projects is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune, responsible for leading end-to-end project delivery across multiple workplace design and build assignments. This role oversees project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards. The Head - Projects coordinates cross-functional internal teams and external partners, including designers, contractors, vendors, and consultants, to drive seamless execution. The role involves monitoring project risks, resolving issues, managing client expectations, and providing regular status updates and reports. This position also contributes to process improvement, supports business development through project expertise, and mentors project managers to build a strong, high-performing delivery team.
Qualifications:
- Strong project leadership skills, with experience overseeing multiple concurrent projects in design and build, construction, or related fields.
- Proficiency in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent stakeholder management abilities, including coordination with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal design and engineering teams.
- Solid understanding of workplace or commercial interior fit-out processes, building codes, and quality and safety standards.
- Advanced communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and manage expectations at senior levels.
- Demonstrated people management experience, including mentoring, performance management, and building collaborative project teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-informed decisions in fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency with project management tools and software; familiarity with design/CAD tools and collaboration platforms is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline; a master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2) are preferred.
- Experience in workplace, commercial interiors, or corporate real estate projects in Pune or similar markets is highly beneficial.
