Job description
Main purpose and scope of the job: Stratacache is looking for a Head Pre-sales to join their operations. In this role you will be working with a leading Global brand whose culture is centred around Growth, Hard work and celebrating success. The selected candidate will lead and grow our pre-sales function across the Asia-Pacific region. This is a leadership role that combines hands-on technical expertise with team management, requiring you to both guide a team of Presales Engineers and contribute directly to winning strategic deals.
You will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, delivering technical excellence throughout the sales cycle, and ensuring the APAC pre-sales team operates at the highest standard. You will work cross-functionally with sales, product, and support teams to drive growth and customer satisfaction across the region. Experience in digital signage is highly desirable and will be viewed as a significant advantage.

Roles and responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Presales Engineers across the APAC region.
- Provide technical support and strategic oversight across pre-sales and post-sales processes.
- Address escalated product-related queries and serve as a senior point of contact for key accounts.
- Drive customer training initiatives, ensuring clients are empowered to maximise product value.
- Advocate the voice of the customer internally, providing structured feedback to product development teams to inform roadmap decisions.
- Report on product performance and team KPIs, presenting insights to senior leadership.
- Identify and implement solutions to reduce support costs and improve operational efficiency across the region.
- Analyse complex customer needs and recommend tailored upgrades or feature sets to meet their requirements.
- Partner closely with the APAC sales leadership team to win new business and expand existing accounts.
- Define, implement, and continuously improve best practices across the APAC pre-sales function.
- Track, report, and act on regional sales performance metrics.
- Represent the pre-sales function in regional leadership forums and cross-functional initiatives.
Core competencies (Must Have):
- 6–10 years of proven experience in a Pre-Sales, Solutions Engineering, or technical sales leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience managing or mentoring a team of technical pre-sales professionals.
- Solid technical background with hands-on experience in digital technologies and enterprise solutions.
- Exceptional ability to understand complex customer requirements and translate them into compelling solutions.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting at a senior executive level.
- Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Experience working across multiple APAC markets, with an understanding of regional business nuances.

Other competencies:
- Previous experience in the digital signage industry is highly desirable and will be a significant advantage.
Qualification:
- BSc degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical field.
- Post-graduate qualification in Sales, Marketing, or equivalent experience
