We're seeking for an innovative & visionary leader to serve as Head or Director of University Campus Placement. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for higher education and a commitment to student success. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of experience, creativity, and strategic thinking to the role and will work with faculty, staff, and students to build a dynamic and thriving academic community.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide academic and administrative leadership to the college
- Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to support the college's mission and goals
- Ensure the quality of academic programs and support the development of new programs and initiatives
- Promote a culture of excellence in teaching, research, and service
- Manage the college budget and resources, and provide fiscal oversight and accountability
- Represent the college and the university to external constituencies and stakeholders
- Collaborate with other deans, the provost, and other university leaders on initiatives and initiatives affecting the university as a whole
Qualifications & Skills
- Extensive experience in academic & placement service
- Proven track record of effective leadership in higher education
- Strong understanding of accreditation processes and standards
- Experience with budget management and resource allocation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Successful experience in faculty recruitment and development
- Ability to foster a collaborative and innovative academic environment
- Experience in strategic planning and implementation
- An earned doctorate or terminal degree in a relevant field
- Significant academic administrative experience at the department chair, program director, or higher level
- A strong commitment to the mission of higher education and student success
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Proven ability to lead and manage change, build consensus, and promote collaboration
- Demonstrated success in fundraising and resource development
- A record of scholarly accomplishment and a commitment to ongoing professional development
