Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Agronomy Leadership
* Define agronomy strategy aligned with business goals (yield, quality, cost, scale).
* Set targets and performance standards for agronomy across all farms/units.
Technical Excellence & Innovation
* Champion agronomic innovation, R&D trials, precision agriculture, and digital tools.
* Evaluate and implement new technologies, crop varieties, and practices (AI/IoT in CEA).
2. Operational Governance
* Standardize SOPs, crop calendars, and agronomy playbooks across locations.
* Deploy best practices in water use efficiency, nutrient use efficiency, and resource
optimization.
3. Team Leadership & Capability Building
* Build and lead a high-performing agronomy team (Sr Agronomists, Field Specialists).
* Drive capability development & leadership pipelines.
4. Cross-Functional Strategy
* Partner with Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing, and Finance to sync production with
commercial priorities.
* Represent agronomy at leadership forums and business reviews.
5. Risk & Compliance
* Oversee crop risk management (climate, pests, diseases).
* Ensure adherence to food safety standards and sustainability targets.

1. Strategic thinker with strong execution capability.
2. Expert in CEA systems and scalable agronomy frameworks.
3. Leadership, change management, and stakeholder management skills.
4. Strong data literacy, analytics orientation, and agritech fluency.
5. Agility: Should have diverse experience on managing multi locations and open to travel to
build team and business.
