Position Details
- Role: Head of Total Rewards
- Location: Hyderabad
- Work Model: Hybrid (3 Days from Office)
Role Overview
The Head of Total Rewards will lead and continuously evolve the organization's Total Rewards strategy, ensuring competitive, equitable, and performance-driven compensation, benefits, recognition, mobility, and rewards programs. The role will partner closely with business leaders, Finance, Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, and Global Rewards teams to attract, retain, and motivate top talent while maintaining governance, compliance, and cost effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation Strategy & Governance
- Lead compensation philosophy and strategy.
- Manage annual compensation review processes.
- Salary benchmarking, merit planning, market corrections, promotions, bonus planning, and long-term incentive programs.
- Develop salary structures, job architecture, and grading frameworks.
- Support executive compensation and retention decisions.
Market Intelligence & Benchmarking
- Participate in Mercer, Korn Ferry, WTW, Aon, Radford surveys.
- Analyze market trends and GCC compensation dynamics.
- Provide data-driven compensation recommendations.
Benefits & Employee Wellbeing
- Manage medical, life, accident, retirement, wellness, and flexible benefit programs.
- Evaluate benefits effectiveness and employee experience.
- Drive wellbeing and recognition initiatives.
Executive & Leadership Rewards
- Partner with business leaders on executive compensation.
- Support retention bonuses, sign-on incentives, and leadership rewards governance.
Global Mobility
- Manage international assignments and relocation programs.
- Ensure mobility compliance, taxation, and immigration governance.
Rewards Analytics & Insights
- Build reward dashboards and people analytics.
- Drive insights around pay competitiveness, pay equity, retention, and incentive effectiveness.
Pay Equity & Compliance
- Conduct pay equity reviews.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, taxation requirements, and global reward policies.
Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with GCC Leadership, HRBPs, Finance, Talent Acquisition, Legal, and Global Rewards teams.
Preferred Background
- 15+ years of HR experience with strong Compensation & Benefits / Total Rewards expertise.
- Experience within GCCs, Technology, BFSI, Healthcare, Consulting, or Engineering Services organizations.
- Strong exposure to:
- Mercer IPE
- Korn Ferry Hay Methodology
- WTW
- Radford
- Aon
- Experience leading annual compensation cycles, executive rewards, benchmarking, and rewards governance.
