Role Overview
We are seeking an exceptional technology and people leader to head the India IT function for one of our global clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong execution capability, who can build high-performing teams, deliver enterprise-grade systems, and align technology initiatives with global business objectives. The ideal candidate combines technical credibility, operational discipline, and inspirational leadership to drive innovation, transformation, and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Delivery: Oversee end-to-end delivery of IT projects and programs; establish strong governance, reporting, and KPI frameworks.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure high availability, performance, and security of systems.
- People & Culture: Build, mentor, and scale high-performing IT teams (100+ professionals); foster a culture of accountability and innovation.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner with business leaders to translate strategy into technology solutions and provide strategic advisory to global executives.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in IT leadership roles (typically 15+ years).
- Proven experience managing large-scale teams (100+ professionals).
- Strong background in enterprise applications, cloud (Azure preferred), integrations, and data platforms.
- Deep knowledge of IT governance frameworks (ITIL, TOGAF, Agile).
- Demonstrated experience driving digital transformation and global delivery models.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
