As part of our strategic global expansion, we are establishing a Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad, India to enhance our technology and business operations.
Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary and execution-focused
Head of Technology – India to lead the build-out and ongoing leadership of our GCC in Hyderabad for the
Advisor Experience technology group. This role will be a key member of the Global CIO’s (Advisor Experience Technology) leadership team and will be instrumental in shaping the future of LPL’s global technology footprint.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & GCC Build-Out
- Lead the establishment and scaling of the GCC in Hyderabad for Advisor Experience Technology, targeting ~300 roles by 2028.
- Develop and execute a multi-year roadmap for talent acquisition and retention, organizational integration, and scaling.
- Serve as the primary executive interface between India-based Advisor Experience Technology teams and U.S. leadership.
Technology Execution & Delivery Oversight
- Provide leadership and oversight for India-based engineering teams supporting four core domains:
- ClientWorks Foundations (advisor technology platform)
- Account Lifecycle Management & Operations Technology
- Service, Support, Supervision & Compliance Technology
- Trading & Investment Management Technology
- Understand the domain’s strategy, initiatives and goals; ensure all local team members have what they need.
- Speak up when integrity, standards, or delivery are at risk.
- Ensure high-quality, timely delivery of technology solutions aligned with LPL engineering standards, business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Drive Agile practices, consistent engineering excellence (including security, stability, and compliance with software development lifecycle and release management guidelines), productivity, AI adoption, innovation, and continuous improvement.
People Leadership & Organizational Development
- Embrace, model, and foster LPL company values (Pursue Greatness, Do the Right Thing, Drive Our Clients’ Success, Win Together, Create and Share Joy).
- Build and mentor a high-performing leadership team in India for the Advisor Experience Technology team.
- Foster a culture of engineering excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Partner with HR to manage local talent strategy, performance management, and employee engagement.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws, data privacy regulations, and corporate governance standards.
- Collaborate with LPL HR, legal, finance, and compliance teams to maintain operational integrity.
Vendor Strategy & Consolidation
- Support the consolidation of vendor partner resources into Hyderabad.
- Oversee vendor performance and integration with internal teams.
- Partner with GCC delivery enablement leader on their contract efficiency and assessing onshore/offshore mix.

Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive experience in technology leadership roles, with at least 10 years in people management and 5 years in a senior executive capacity.
- Proven track record of building and scaling global technology centers or large delivery organizations.
- Deep understanding of Wealth Management, Broker-Dealer platforms, and U.S. Financial Advisor technologies is highly desirable.
- Strong expertise in cloud architecture, platform design, application design, and API design.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams across geographies.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills.
Preferences
- Prior experience in setting up GCCs or leading large-scale transitions to India.
- Familiarity with U.S. financial services regulatory landscape.
