About the Role
We are looking for a highly execution-driven Head of Talent Acquisition to lead and strengthen our recruitment function.
You will manage and mentor recruiters while building a structured, performance-driven Talent department that ensures:
- Positions are closed within defined timelines
- No hiring vacuum across departments
- Strong quality-of-hire standards
- Controlled hiring costs
- Reduced dependency on external agencies
This is not a passive oversight role. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring ownership of hiring pipeline, recruiter productivity, cost efficiency, and closure discipline.
The ideal candidate brings structure, accountability, hiring strategy, and measurable outcomes not just coordination.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning
- Build and maintain a structured hiring roadmap aligned with business growth
- Ensure no critical positions remain open beyond defined SLA timelines
- Work closely with leadership to forecast hiring needs
- Create succession and backup hiring plans to avoid operational gaps
2. Recruitment Operations & Closure Discipline
- Own end-to-end hiring across functions (Sales, Operations, Finance, Marketing, etc.)
- Define hiring SLAs and enforce closure timelines
- Monitor recruiter pipelines daily
- Intervene proactively in slow-moving positions
- Ensure offer-to-joining conversion ratios remain strong
3. Recruiter Management & Productivity Control
- Manage and mentor internal recruiters
- Track recruiter KPIs (CV-to-interview ratio, offer ratio, joining ratio, TAT)
- Improve recruiter screening quality
- Train recruiters in structured evaluation, judgment assessment, and stakeholder coordination
- Remove weak sourcing practices and build disciplined screening systems
4. Cost Optimization & Agency Control
- Reduce dependency on external recruitment agencies
- Negotiate agency terms where required
- Track cost-per-hire metrics
- Build strong internal sourcing channels (referrals, direct sourcing, headhunting)
- Improve hiring ROI
5. Hiring Quality & Culture Fit
- Improve quality-of-hire standards
- Ensure role clarity before hiring begins
- Reduce early attrition through better screening discipline
- Implement structured pre-screening frameworks
6. Hiring Analytics & Reporting
- Maintain hiring dashboards
- Track open positions vs closed positions
- Monitor pipeline health weekly
- Share structured reports with leadership
- Identify bottlenecks and resolve quickly
7. Employer Branding & Candidate Experience
- Ensure professional communication at every hiring stage
- Improve candidate experience
- Strengthen employer positioning in the market
