This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Head of Support and Technical Deployments - Private Cloud in India.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the end-to-end deployment and support strategy of a complex Private Cloud application ecosystem. You will oversee large-scale technical deployments, ensuring systems are configured, integrated, and delivered according to high engineering and operational standards. The role combines deep technical authority with people leadership, managing a growing team of engineers and technical leads while ensuring operational excellence in support delivery. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Cloud Operations, Product, and Client Services to ensure reliable, scalable, and well-monitored deployments. This position is ideal for a seasoned technical leader who thrives in complex enterprise environments and enjoys building structure, standards, and scalable delivery frameworks. Your impact will directly influence platform stability, client satisfaction, and the scalability of global Private Cloud operations.
Accountabilities
In this role, you will lead all Private Cloud deployment and technical support activities, ensuring high-quality execution, strong architectural governance, and operational reliability across the full application lifecycle. You will also be responsible for building and scaling a high-performing technical support organization while driving continuous improvement across tools, processes, and standards.
- Lead end-to-end deployment of Private Cloud application environments, including new implementations, upgrades, and configuration changes
- Define and govern technical architecture, deployment frameworks, standards, and best practices for scalable delivery
- Oversee application configuration, performance tuning, integration validation, and environment readiness
- Drive automation, scripting, and monitoring improvements across deployment and support processes
- Manage and evolve observability practices, including logging, performance tracking, and system diagnostics
- Lead and scale a technical support organization of ~20 engineers and leads, ensuring high-quality service delivery
- Establish operational processes, SOPs, and escalation paths for production support and incident management
- Act as the final escalation point for critical technical issues in Private Cloud environments
- Collaborate with Engineering, Cloud Ops, Product, and Client teams to ensure seamless deployment and transition to steady-state support
Requirements
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in enterprise application deployment, cloud environments, and technical team leadership. You are highly structured, deeply technical, and capable of driving clarity in complex, large-scale systems while leading distributed engineering teams.
- 10+ years of experience in technical deployment, solution engineering, or application configuration roles
- At least 5+ years in a leadership role managing technical teams (15+ members)
- Strong understanding of multi-layer application architectures, cloud-based deployments, and integration environments
- Experience with configuration management, performance monitoring, logging, and system diagnostics
- Hands-on or oversight experience with scripting, automation, and deployment orchestration
- Proven ability to define and implement deployment frameworks, standards, and operational processes
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience working in cloud environments and large-scale enterprise platforms
- Strong problem-solving ability with a structured and analytical mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field
