Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in New Delhi for the Head of Strategic Convenings. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing impactful events, workshops, and forums that foster collaboration and dialogue among stakeholders in the social impact sector. Key responsibilities include developing event strategies, supervising end-to-end event planning and logistics, building and maintaining key partnerships, curating content for convenings, and analysing outcomes to drive future improvements.
Qualifications
- Event Management and Project Management skills, including planning, execution, and coordination of large-scale events and convenings
- Strong Communication and Public Speaking skills for stakeholder engagement, presentations, and networking
- Leadership and Team Management skills to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively
- Content Curation and Strategic Thinking abilities to design high-impact and mission-aligned events
- Networking and Relationship-Building expertise with partners, sponsors, and stakeholders in the social impact space
- Proven track record of achieving objectives within deadlines and budgets
- Proficiency in using relevant tools for event management and digital communication
- Passion for advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals and social impact initiatives
- Master’s degree in Business, Communications, Event Management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
