Snapshot of the Day: We are looking for a person who wants to take on a new role and manage a team (over 10 people) in an international GS Solution (Erection & Commissioning) environment. This person will be responsible for ensuring the high quality of services provided in the field of installation and commissioning of Siemens Energy technological solutions on projects implemented around the world.
Position Scope
- Managing SPEL PE EC Hub in India,
- In Company disciplinary management.
- Ensuring global on time delegations of SPEL PE EC hub field staff, compliant and economical sound.
- Cost responsibility for the SPEL PE EC Hub (jointly).
- Execution of the SPEL PE EC strategy.
- Executing all assigned action items.
- Benchmark cooperation with the local organization.
Your new role – challenging and future-oriented
- Team building - recruiting new employees, developing their competencies and creating an optimal organizational culture.
- Effective planning of the department's work, ensuring work safety, business development and employee development.
- Cooperation with internal customers within Siemens Energy in the implementation of global projects
- Participation in internal projects within the GS SO.
- Searching for new and innovative business solutions.
- Developing a team development strategy taking into account the current needs of the business and the dynamic development and changing conditions on the global energy market cases.
Specific Roles And Responsibilities
- Handling personnel hiring and service contracts (jointly with commercial partner)
- Implementation of SO EC relevant procedures, guidelines and instructions
- Team development management (jointly with Line Manager)
- Performance reviews / check ins (jointly with Line Manager)
- Productivity management
- Determination of charge rate (yearly, jointly with commercial manager)
- Travel expenses approval and support for the delegates
- Process improvements
- Recruitment of site engineers (on request and jointly with respective discipline Line Manager)
- Organizing abroad / in land delegations on time by executing the SE delegation process by filling in SE internal tools, preparing and providing supporting documents
- Travel management (bookings)
- Support in onboarding and introduction of new employees
- Support in training management
- Work clothes and work tools administration
- Timesheets management
- Office management and other administrative tasks
- Compliance with all internal and external rules and regulations.
Your new role – challenging and future-oriented
- Experience in managing a large team, including a distributed and diversified one, operating in global, optimally matrix structures
- 3+ years of experience working in an international environment or multicultural teams.
- The ability to motivate the team and build long-term relationships.
- Higher education and experience in efficiency-oriented process management or project management.
- Very good knowledge of English in speech and writing (knowledge of German will be an advantage).
- The ability to establish and develop business relationships and knowledge of the process of employee secondment (this will be an additional advantage).
- Problem-solving skills, creativity, effectiveness in action, ability to act under time pressure and in a changing business environment.
