We’re looking for a highly driven sourcing leader to build and scale our global sourcing engine across consumer-product categories.
This role is ideal for someone with strong experience sourcing from China and managing consumer-product manufacturing across categories like bags, bottles, stationery, travel, lifestyle accessories, lunchware, home essentials, kids’ products, and related categories.
You will work directly with the founders to build supplier networks, drive product development, improve unit economics, and ensure world-class quality standards as we scale rapidly.
What You’ll Own
Global Sourcing
Lead sourcing across China and other manufacturing hubs for multiple consumer-product categories.
Supplier Network
Build and manage strong factory relationships, vendor databases, and sourcing partnerships.
Product Development
Coordinate sampling, prototyping, factory development, and white-label customization aligned with brand requirements.
Costing & Negotiation
Own BOM understanding, landed costing, MOQ discussions, payment terms, tooling negotiations, and margin optimization.
Quality & Compliance
Drive strong quality systems across production, inline inspections, pre-shipment checks, and compliance standards.
Category Expansion
Support rapid expansion into new product categories by identifying the right suppliers and manufacturing partners.
Team Building
Build and lead sourcing, merchandising, and QC teams over time.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with Product, Design, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure smooth execution.
What We’re Looking For
Strong experience in sourcing consumer products from China
Experience handling factories and supplier negotiations independently
Deep understanding of consumer-product manufacturing ecosystems
Strong costing and commercial negotiation capability
Experience handling product development and sampling cycles
Strong operational discipline and ownership mindset
Ability to travel to sourcing hubs when required
Strong Excel / costing / sourcing tracker management skills
Fast-moving and execution-focused mindset
Strong understanding of quality standards and factory processes
Preferred Experience
Experience in D2C or fast-growing consumer brands
Existing supplier network across China and Asia
Experience scaling sourcing functions for multiple categories
Experience in OEM / white-label manufacturing environments
