Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Head of Engineering who can combine technical depth with strategic vision. You will own the entire engineering function, from architecture and AI-led product development to team building and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Leadership
- Define engineering roadmap aligned with business goals
- Build and scale a high-performing team
- Drive best practices (code quality, CI/CD, testing)
- Collaborate with leadership on product execution
AI & Product Innovation
- Build AI-powered features using LLMs and agent frameworks
- Design RAG pipelines, multi-agent workflows, and automation
- Drive AI-assisted development practices
Backend & Systems
- Architect scalable, high-availability systems (99.9% uptime)
- Design microservices and event-driven architectures
- Work with Kafka, Redis, and distributed systems
Full-Stack Ownership
- Guide frontend architecture (React / Next.js)
- Improve performance, UX, and developer experience
Infrastructure & DevOps
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and observability systems
- Ensure security, scalability, and reliability
What We’re Looking For
- 8–12 years of experience in software engineering
- 2–3+ years in leadership roles
- Experience building scalable products (1M+ users)
- Strong hands-on expertise in AI/LLMs, backend, and system design
- Startup mindset with strong ownership and execution focus
Tech Stack
AI/ML: OpenAI, LangChain, RAG, Vector Databases
Backend: Node.js, Python, Go
Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript
Infrastructure: AWS/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
Data: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch
