Role Overview:
We are looking for a strategic and dynamic Social Media Head to lead ALLEN’s social presence across platforms. This role demands a business-first mindset, linking social media impact directly to student enrolments and brand growth, while managing a large, multi-functional team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, emerging channels).
- Drive channel growth, engagement, and community building aligned with brand objectives.
Business Impact
- Link social media performance to enrolment goals and lead generation.
- Collaborate with marketing and admissions teams to design conversion-focused campaigns.
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor a large team including - Social Media Managers, Content Creators, Video Production Team, Graphic Designers
- Ensure seamless coordination between creative, performance, and brand teams and work closely with Academic team
Content Excellence
- Oversee creation of high-quality, platform-specific content (static, video, reels, stories).
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and drive social KPIs: follower growth, engagement rate, CTR, lead conversions.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 10+ years in social media marketing with at least 3 years in leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of education or similar sector dynamics and tier 2/3 audience behaviour.
- Creative storyteller with a business-first approach.
- Exceptional leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
