Role Description The Head of Sales is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the client base for weddings and corporate events. This position oversees the sales lifecycle, including lead generation, client meetings, proposals, negotiations, and closing deals. The Head of Sales will develop and implement sales strategies, set targets, and monitor performance across the sales team to ensure achievement of business objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing key accounts, building long-term client relationships, collaborating with event and operations teams on service delivery, and conducting market analysis to identify new opportunities. The role also involves mentoring sales staff, optimizing processes, and providing regular sales forecasts and reports to leadership.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales and Sales Management skills, with a proven record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience in Account Management, including managing key clients and nurturing long-term partnerships.
- Demonstrated Team Management capabilities, including leading, coaching, and developing a sales team.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret sales data, forecast performance, and identify growth opportunities.
- Background in event management, hospitality, or related industries is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work on-site in New Delhi and travel for client meetings as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field; advanced degrees are an advantage.
- Comfort with CRM tools, sales reporting software, and basic office productivity applications.
