Aureum Advisors is working closely with an e-commerce startup in a hyper growth phase to recruit for its leadership roles
E-Commerce | Bangalore
Mandate: Own the number. Build the field sales engine that converts demos into purchases. Week after
week, city after city. Hire, train, and run the army of feet on the ground that decides whether Company’s scales or stalls.
Why Now: Company’s is India's first experience commerce platform, enabling customers to discover products online and book home demos to experience them in their own space before buying. Backed by InfoEdge. Currently live in Bangalore and Delhi NCR, with 4 more cities in the next 6 months.
Every new city is a new sales org to build from zero. We need someone who's done it at serious scale.
What you will Own:
The P&L. Revenue, AOV, cross-sell, repeat rate, margin. Every number that compounds.
Demo-to-sale conversion. The single most important number in the business.
The field sales team. Hiring, training, ramping, retaining, replacing.
Sales playbooks that work across categories, ticket sizes, and cities.
City launches. Standing up sales in a new city in weeks, not quarters.
Incentive design. Targets, quotas, commissions, contests.
Who are you?
6+ years in sales with deep field experience. You've managed FSEs, not just inside sales
reps.
Background in FMCG, General Trade, Modern Trade, or Insurance. Beat plans, conversion ratios, productivity benchmarks, and what it takes to keep a field team motivated on a Wednesday afternoon in August.
Owned a P&L of ₹100 Cr+ in monthly sales. Recurring, not project value.
Hired and managed a field team of 1,000+ across geographies.
Built sales SOPs that survive contact with the field.
Bonus: launched sales in new geographies, or scaled a high-touch consumer category like consumer durables or large appliances
Compensation: Competitive Salary + ESOPs for the right candidate

Preferred Experience : In Q-comm players like Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart etc | E-commerce players like Amazon or Flipkart | Or companies like Urban Company, Pronto, Snabbit
