Role Overview
We are looking for a highly driven Head of Sales & Operations to lead our Bangalore market. This is a critical leadership role with complete ownership of city performance, retail operations, and expansion strategy. You will be responsible for scaling the business, strengthening store-level execution, and building a high-performing team across a large retail network.

Key Responsibilities
Own the Business (P&L Leadership)
* Take full ownership of the Bangalore city P&L, driving revenue, margins, and overall profitability
* Build and execute strategies to accelerate business growth and market penetration
* Monitor and improve store-level productivity and financial performance
Drive Sales Excellence
* Lead and deliver on ambitious sales targets across 75 + retail stores
* Improve key metrics such as conversion rates, average bill value, and same-store growth
* Create a strong performance-driven sales culture across all stores
Retail Operations Excellence
* Oversee end-to-end operations for all stores in the city (average store size: 500–700 sq. ft.)
* Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional customer experience and service standards
* Standardize and optimize processes to improve efficiency, compliance, and store execution
Team Leadership & People Development
* Lead, coach, and inspire a large, multi-tier team including cluster managers and store teams
* Build strong leadership at every level and ensure high team engagement and retention
* Drive accountability through structured performance management systems
Network Expansion & Growth
* Play a key role in expanding Specsmakers’ footprint in Bangalore
* Identify high-potential locations and support store rollout and launch execution
* Ensure new stores ramp up quickly and meet defined performance benchmarks

Ideal Candidate Profile
* 10–15+ years of experience in retail sales and operations
* Proven experience managing 50+ stores within a single city environment
* Strong exposure to P&L ownership, multi-store operations, and large team leadership
* Background in the optical industry is highly preferred; strong retail leaders from other sectors will also be considered
* Demonstrated ability to scale operations and drive consistent business growth
* Highly execution-focused with strong analytical and leadership capabilities
