Mission of the Role
Lead the research, engineering, and future product development of the AtmosPOLE™ platform.
This leader will transform AtmosPOLE™ from a single product into a continuously evolving climate infrastructure platform.
The role will focus on next-generation environmental technologies, intelligent sensing systems, and climate engineering solutions integrated into urban infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Product Innovation
Lead the development of:
§ AtmosPOLE™ V2 and V3
§ advanced air purification systems
§ methane and carbon capture systems
§ smart environmental sensing platforms
Climate Engineering Research
Explore and integrate technologies including:
§ atmospheric filtration systems
§ catalytic methane oxidation
§ photocatalytic air purification
§ distributed climate monitoring
Hardware + Software Integration
Build systems integrating:
§ environmental sensors
§ AI-driven environmental analytics
§ IoT platforms
§ climate data intelligence
Rapid Prototyping
Create fast innovation cycles including:
§ prototype development
§ product testing
§ field validation
Intellectual Property
Build Accel1’s climate technology IP portfolio including:
§ patents
§ proprietary technologies
§ product architecture
Ideal Candidate Background
This role requires someone who can lead deep technology innovation.
Ideal candidates come from:
§ IIT research labs
§ IISc
§ climate technology startups
§ advanced hardware startups
§ environmental engineering firms
§ industrial R&D centers
Required Experience
§ 15–20 years in product development or advanced engineering
§ experience in hardware + environmental systems
§ experience building innovative physical products
Technical Expertise Areas
Strong candidates will have experience in areas such as:
§ environmental engineering
§ atmospheric science
§ sensor systems
§ hardware design
§ climate technologies
§ IoT platforms
