About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned leader from the interior fit-out industry to establish and lead our South India operations. The role is based in Bengaluru and will be responsible for driving business growth, overseeing project execution, and managing the overall Profit & Loss (P&L) for the South Region while working closely with the Mumbai Head Office.
This is a strategic leadership position for a professional who has successfully delivered large corporate interior fit-out projects and possesses extraordinary execution capability, strong operational discipline, commercial acumen, contracting expertise, and client management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the complete South India business operations.
- Own the regional P&L, revenue, profitability, and cash flow.
- Drive execution of multiple interior fit-out projects across the South Region with extraordinary execution capability and delivery excellence.
- Build and lead high-performing project, procurement, site execution, and contracting teams.
- Oversee end-to-end contracting, vendor management, and subcontractor finalization to ensure commercial and execution efficiency.
- Develop strong relationships with corporate clients, PMCs, consultants, architects, and key stakeholders.
- Ensure timely project delivery while maintaining quality, safety, and commercial objectives.
- Monitor project budgets, billing, collections, variations, claims, and overall financial performance.
- Identify business opportunities and support the Business Development team in securing new projects.
- Establish robust operational processes, governance, and execution systems aligned with the company's standards.
- Report directly to the leadership team and the Board of Directors.
Candidate Profile
- 20+ years of experience in the corporate interior fit-out industry.
- Graduate in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech), Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline. Candidates with equivalent relevant qualifications and extensive industry experience may also be considered.
- Proven experience in handling large corporate interior fit-out projects from inception to handover with extraordinary execution capability.
- Demonstrated experience in leading regional operations with full ownership of P&L and strong contracting expertise.
- Strong commercial acumen with deep understanding of contracts, procurement, budgeting, billing, claims, and project financial management.
- Excellent leadership, client management, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Well-connected within the South India corporate interiors ecosystem will be an added advantage.
Preferred Industry Experience
Candidates currently working with leading Design & Build or Interior Fit-out companies will be preferred.
