Role Description The Head of Project Management is a full-time, on-site role based in Guwahati. This position oversees the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of projects in Power, Energy, and Telecom, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading project teams, defining project scopes, managing budgets and resources, tracking progress, and resolving risks and issues. The role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders, clients, and partners to maintain clear communication, provide status reports, and drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Program Management and Project Leadership skills, with experience overseeing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including stakeholder management, reporting, and the ability to present project updates clearly.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret data, assess risks, and make informed decisions.
- Candidates should possess proven Team Management capabilities, including mentoring, performance oversight, and cross-functional coordination.
- Candidates should possess solid Budgeting and financial management skills, including cost control and resource allocation.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field; advanced certifications in project or program management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are beneficial.
- Experience in Power, Energy, or Telecom projects, familiarity with regulatory requirements, and strong organizational skills are preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Guwahati, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a focus on safety, quality, and timely delivery.
