Company Description

Ashiyana works with at-risk children and youth in Mumbai between the ages 12-24 years who are either Children in Conflict with the Law (CCL) or Children in Need of Care and Protection (CNCP) as per the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act 2015. Our work focuses on mental health, behaviour change, and reintegration - through relationship-based, trauma-informed, and arts-based approaches.

We work closely with child care institutions, government systems, and families to support children in building safer, more stable, and more hopeful futures.

At Ashiyana, we believe that when children and youth experience inner transformation through safe spaces and positive and deep relationships, they can heal themselves, change their behaviours, become self-reliant and disrupt the cycle of poverty and violence.
