Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Chennai for the role of Head of Program Management at Avalon Technologies Limited. The selected candidate will oversee multiple projects to ensure alignment with organizational goals, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure timely delivery within budget. The role involves leading stakeholder communications, streamlining resource allocation, conducting risk assessments, and optimizing processes for success. The candidate will also be responsible for mentoring team members, fostering collaboration, and driving efficiency across project lifecycles.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Program Management, including planning, execution, and delivery of complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating project performance, solving problems, and making data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional Stakeholder Management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external teams.
  • Proficiency in Budgeting and financial control to ensure projects remain cost-effective and within allocated budgets.
  • Demonstrated ability in Team Leadership, including mentoring, conflict resolution, and fostering collaboration across teams.
  • Solid knowledge of manufacturing systems and processes is an added advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Past experience in managing manufacturing or technology programs, preferably in Medical, Aerospace, or Telecommunications sectors, is a plus.
