Role Summary
CloudEva's execution leader. Owns product roadmap, engineering delivery, sales execution, marketing, and customer success end-to-end. Reports to RCS CEO (Founder). Operates as a peer to RCS COO. The first and most critical hire — everything else depends on this person.
Responsibilities
- Own sprint planning, release cadence, and engineering delivery end-to-end
- Translate strategic direction into sprint-level stories and shipping milestones
- Hire and manage the full product team (engineering, design, sales, marketing, CS)
- Make daily trade-off decisions (tech debt vs. features, scope vs. speed) without escalation
- Own PLG instrumentation strategy (Beamer, event tracking, onboarding flows, upgrade nudges)
- Coordinate with RCS CTO (architecture advisory) on architecture decisions
- Coordinate with RCS COO on hiring process, budgets, and vendor contracts
- Drive product-market fit validation through first 50 paying customers
Requirements
- 10-15 years experience in product + engineering leadership roles
- Shipped multi-tenant B2B SaaS products from early stage to scale (8-25 person teams)
- AWS-native experience (ECS Fargate, PostgreSQL, Redis, event-driven architectures)
- Startup/scale-up background (not large enterprise) — comfortable with ambiguity
- Can review PRs on Monday AND define sprint priorities on Tuesday
- Understands PLG instrumentation, event tracking, and activation metrics
Nice to Have
- Cloud/FinOps domain experience
- MSP ecosystem familiarity
- Experience with LLM-powered products
