About Bluemark
Bluemark Promotions is a Pune-based manufacturer of corporate gifting and promotional products with a 22,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility, 50+ employees and 500+ resellers.
With in-house injection moulding, laser cutting, UV printing, screen printing and 3D printing capabilities, Bluemark develops products for corporate clients and leading e-commerce marketplaces.
The Role
We are looking for a Head of Product Design to own the complete journey from idea → design → prototype → production.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will initially work as an individual contributor and soon build and lead a team of junior designers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead New Product Development (NPD) from concept to mass production.
- Design and prototype products across plastic, MDF, acrylic, wood, metal, glass, cork, resin, Jesmonite and mixed materials.
- Drive R&D, material experimentation and product innovation.
- Create 3D models, 2D drawings, prototypes, jigs/fixtures and production-ready files.
- Work closely with production and vendors on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and costing.
- Develop innovative desk accessories, home décor and corporate gifting products.
- Design efficient, attractive and transit-safe product packaging.
- Track market trends, competitors and e-commerce bestsellers to build the product pipeline.
- Build, train and lead the design team as it grows.
Must Have
- 5+ years of product / industrial design experience.
- Portfolio showing physical products personally designed and taken to mass production.
- Strong experience working across multiple materials.
- Strong 3D modelling and product development skills.
Good to Have
- SolidWorks / Fusion 360
- Illustrator / CorelDRAW
- KeyShot / Blender or similar
- Experience with injection moulding / mould makers
- Experience in gifting, décor, desk accessories or stationery
