Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Strategy & Governance
- Risk assessment + mitigate risks
- Develop new vendors
- Suggest new material sources
- Start international sourcing of in sync with benefits available under EPCG / Advance License / Buyer’s credit schemes
Supplier Strategy & Global Sourcing
- Sourcing Raw Material
- Sourcing Packing Material
- Sourcing Finished Products
- Ensure availability of RM, PM & FG in time
- Sourcing & timely availability of R & D related RM & PM
- Sourcing of DMFs, reference standards, columns – importation and sourcing locally
- Develop new sources of above in India and Internationally
- Contract mfg vendors development and ASSESS them periodically & scientifically
- Reagents sourcing
- Co-ordination for DCGI applications
- Co-ordination for MRP fixation of new Products & revision of MRP of existing products
- Procurement of Fixed assets and misc. items
- Domestic or International sourcing of Machinery & equipment including AMCs
- Ensure constant learning and development of Team and himself
- Ensure delegation and freedom of work thereby structured delegation resulting in succession planning
