Head of Presales
Own and scale the presales function end-to-end - from shaping deal strategy to driving high-quality proposals, solution narratives, and client engagements. The goal is simple: improve win rates, accelerate deal cycles, and free up leadership bandwidth for growth.
This role sits at the intersection of sales, product, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Presales Strategy & Leadership
Build and lead a high-performing presales team (solutioning, RFP, demos)
Define presales playbooks, frameworks, and reusable assets
Own win-rate improvement and deal conversion metrics
2. Deal Shaping & Solutioning
Partner with sales to qualify, shape, and position deals
Translate client problems into clear, outcome-driven solutions
Lead complex solutioning across AI, data, and MedTech, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Media & AdTech/MarTech
3. RFP/RFI & Proposal Excellence
Own end-to-end RFP lifecycle: qualification to response to submission
Improve quality, consistency, and turnaround time of proposals
Build and maintain a strong knowledge repository
4. Client Engagement & Storytelling
Lead discovery workshops, executive presentations, and demos
Craft compelling value narratives (not just technical responses)
Build credibility with CXO-level stakeholders
5. Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with sales, product, engineering, and delivery teams
Align solution feasibility, pricing, and delivery approach
Ensure smooth transition from presales to execution
What We are Looking For
15+ years experience with strong background in presales / solution consulting / bid management
Proven experience leading RFPs, proposals, and large deal cycles
Ability to translate complex tech (AI, data, automation) into business value
Experience working across cross-functional global teams
Strong storytelling, communication, and executive presence
Hands-on mindset - can operate at both strategy and execution levels
