Kailas Engineering Systems, a leading manufacturer of food processing machinery executing turnkey projects, is looking for an experienced Production Head to lead manufacturing, site coordination, and service operations.
🔹 Experience Required:
12+ years in Production / Manufacturing (Industrial Machinery / Capital Equipment preferred)
Strong exposure to fabrication, machining, assembly & project-based manufacturing
Experience in handling large production teams
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
1️⃣ Production Management
Overall responsibility for manufacturing operations across multiple production shops
Planning & achieving monthly production and dispatch targets
Resource planning (manpower, machines, materials)
Improving productivity & reducing rework
2️⃣ Installation & Site Coordination
Coordination of multiple parallel installation sites
Ensuring production alignment with site requirements
Monitoring installation progress & supporting site teams
3️⃣ Service & After-Sales Coordination
Planning and monitoring service attendance
Ensuring timely response to customer complaints
Coordination between service, production & project teams
4️⃣ Process & Quality Control
Implement 5S, Kaizen & continuous improvement initiatives
Monitor welding quality, assembly standards & inspection
Control production cost & minimize wastage
🔹 Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of SS fabrication & heavy equipment assembly
Ability to read GA drawings & layouts
Planning & scheduling expertise
ERP / SAP knowledge preferred
🔹 Performance KPIs:
On-time production & dispatch
Smooth coordination between factory & sites
Improved manpower productivity
