We are looking for a Head of Performance Marketing to lead customer acquisition and paid growth across our D2C brands. This is a leadership role for someone who has deep hands-on experience with Meta and Google, has managed large budgets, and understands how to scale Indian consumer brands profitably.
You will own paid media strategy, budget allocation, performance targets, reporting, and team management across digital acquisition channels. You should be commercially strong, highly analytical, and able to balance scale with efficiency.
This role is ideal for someone who has worked in high-growth D2C, ecommerce, beauty, wellness, healthcare, or consumer brands and has a proven track record of driving revenue through paid channels.
Key responsibilities
- Own the full performance marketing function across Meta, Google, YouTube, and other acquisition channels
- Build and lead the paid growth strategy across all brands, products, and customer segments
- Manage large monthly marketing budgets with a clear focus on CAC, ROAS, MER, contribution margin, LTV, and revenue growth
- Develop channel-wise scaling plans and allocate spend based on performance and business priorities
- Lead campaign planning, execution, optimisation, and expansion across prospecting, retargeting, and retention-support campaigns
- Create strong performance reporting systems and dashboards for daily, weekly, and monthly reviews
- Work closely with creative, ecommerce, product, retention, and analytics teams to improve funnel performance
- Drive creative testing strategy across ad formats, hooks, messaging angles, offers, landing pages, and audience segments
- Identify growth opportunities across new channels, new customer cohorts, new offers, and new product launches
- Improve attribution, tracking, measurement, and reporting across platforms and analytics tools
- Lead forecasting, budgeting, and revenue planning for paid channels
- Build, manage, and mentor the internal performance marketing team and external agency partners where required
- Establish clear KPIs and accountability across the acquisition function
- Monitor competitor activity, platform changes, and market trends to keep the business ahead
- Ensure strong governance around ad accounts, tracking, spend controls, and performance processes
Required experience
- 7-12 years of experience in performance marketing, growth marketing, or paid acquisition
- Strong experience managing Meta Ads and Google Ads at scale for D2C or ecommerce brands in India
- Proven experience handling large monthly budgets, ideally INR 1 crore+ per month
- Strong understanding of growth metrics including CAC, CPA, CPR, ROAS, MER, AOV, CVR, LTV, repeat rate, and contribution margin
- Demonstrated ability to scale paid campaigns while maintaining efficiency and profitability
- Experience leading teams and managing cross-functional collaboration
- Deep understanding of full-funnel acquisition strategy and consumer purchase journeys
- Strong analytical ability and commercial judgement
- Experience with GA4, Shopify, Google Tag Manager, reporting dashboards, and attribution frameworks
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, founder-led, high-growth environment
Preferred profile
- Experience in Indian D2C brands, especially wellness, beauty, personal care, healthcare, or other consumer categories
- Experience managing both in-house teams and agencies
- Strong understanding of landing page optimisation and conversion rate improvement
- Familiarity with creative strategy for paid social
- Experience with subscription, repeat purchase, or retention-led consumer businesses
- Based in Mumbai or willing to relocate

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, commerce, economics, or a related field
- Advanced knowledge of performance marketing platforms and analytics tools
- Relevant certifications are helpful but not essential
