Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role, located in Bengaluru, for a Head of People & Culture Manager. The responsibility involves overseeing all aspects of human resources operations, including implementing effective HR policies, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws. The role also includes talent acquisition, retention strategies, fostering an inclusive and positive workplace culture, and ensuring employee engagement and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the overall people and culture strategy
- Build a distinctive culture aligned with Swordfish’s creative DNA
- Design an agile, scalable organizational structure
- Lead talent strategy across creative and business functions
- Partner with leadership on senior hiring and retention
- Strengthen employer brand within the creative ecosystem
- Implement performance frameworks (OKRs, KPIs, continuous feedback)
- Build learning, development, and career progression pathways
- Own employee experience across the lifecycle
- Drive engagement and retention in a high-performance environment
- Establish progressive HR policies and ensure compliance
- Balance structure with an entrepreneurial, creative culture
- Act as a strategic partner to founders and leadership
- Align people strategy with business goals
Requirements:
- 8–12+ years in HR / People & Culture, with leadership experience
- Proven ability to build and scale teams and systems
- Strong understanding of modern HR and performance frameworks
- Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving change
- Based in Bangalore or open to relocation
Bonus (Good to Have):
- Experience in events, media, entertainment, or startup ecosystems
- Exposure to employer branding and new-age HR practices
