Position: Operation Head – Oil & Gas T&D Projects
Department: Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D)
Location: Saudi Arabia

Position Summary -
The Operation Head – T&D Projects will be responsible for overall business growth, project
execution excellence, operational leadership, and customer engagement across Oil & Gas
Transmission & Distribution projects of PT&D Saudi.
The role will provide strategic and operational leadership for multiple large-scale EPC projects,
ensuring successful project delivery within defined cost, schedule, quality, safety, and commercial
parameters. The position will lead project management functions across the assigned
cluster/segment, drive customer satisfaction, manage P&L responsibility, and ensure alignment with company strategy, business objectives, and global standards.
Key Responsibilities-
Business & Operational Leadership
● Lead end-to-end operations and business growth initiatives for Aramco Oil & Gas T&D
projects.
● Develop and implement project management strategies aligned with country objectives,
business goals, and organizational policies.
● Manage overall execution of multiple high-voltage Substation EPC projects, ensuring
timely completion, cost control, quality standards, and safety compliance.
● Manage P&L responsibility for assigned projects/cluster, including financial performance,
cost optimization, and profitability improvement.
Project Management & Execution Excellence
● Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of major EPC projects,
including EHV substations and transmission projects.
● Ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets, timelines, quality requirements, and
contractual obligations.
● Review project progress, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions to ensure
successful delivery.
● Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure timely resolution.
● Drive early completion of critical projects through effective planning, resource optimization,
and stakeholder coordination.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
● Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, especially Aramco
stakeholders.
● Act as the highest escalation point for project-related matters and provide strategic
guidance.
● Understand customer requirements, market trends, competitor activities, and industry
developments to influence business direction.
● Manage negotiations and coordination with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and
internal stakeholders.
● Build strong business networks with construction agencies, suppliers, and support
functions to enhance execution capability.
Team Leadership & Capability Development
● Lead and mentor multiple teams comprising senior managers, managers, and project
execution teams.
● Develop organizational capability and ensure availability of skilled resources for current and
future business requirements.
Required Qualification & Experience
Educational Qualification
● Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (B.E / B.Tech – Electrical preferred)
Professional Experience
● Minimum 20-22 years of overall EPC experience.
● Minimum 10 years of Gulf / Middle East Oil & Gas T&D Sector experience.
● Minimum 5 years of experience in Operation Head / Country Head / Project Director
role.
● Strong experience in EPC project execution, particularly in Transmission & Distribution
projects.
Mandatory Experience Criteria
● Strong T&D experience with execution of EHV Substations in EPC mode.
● Hands-on experience in High Voltage Substations (380 kV) in O&G.
● Strong background in Electrical / Instrumentation engineering.
● Proven experience managing:
○ Multiple projects portfolio (8–10 projects), OR
○ Large-scale EPC project with value of approximately USD 600–700 million.
● Minimum 5–10 years of Oil & Gas experience in Transmission & Distribution projects.
● Strong Middle East project execution experience.
● Experience managing complete project lifecycle including engineering, procurement,
construction, commissioning, and handover.
