About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and transformation-focused Head – Operations to lead operational strategy and execution for a global marketing and creative services organization. This role will be responsible for driving operational excellence, service delivery efficiency, financial performance, workforce optimization, and organizational transformation across multiple teams and geographies.
The ideal candidate will bring strong operational leadership, financial acumen, stakeholder management capabilities, and experience managing large-scale service operations within fast-paced and evolving environments.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership & Service Delivery
- Lead end-to-end operations for global marketing and creative services functions, ensuring operational excellence and high-quality service delivery.
- Oversee multiple operational streams across geographies, ensuring timely execution, SLA adherence, and process efficiency.
- Act as the central operational leader for escalations, governance, and cross-functional coordination.
- Drive operational scalability and business continuity planning to support organizational growth.
Transformation & Process Optimization
- Lead organizational transformation initiatives focused on capability building, workflow optimization, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Design and implement scalable operational processes across recruitment, onboarding, resource planning, project management, and employee engagement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, utilization, turnaround times, and service quality.
- Evaluate and implement automation tools and technology solutions to streamline workflows and operations.
Financial & Business Management
- Own operational financial management including budgeting, forecasting, revenue tracking, cost optimization, and utilization management.
- Monitor operational KPIs, financial performance metrics, and service delivery outcomes.
- Prepare and present business reviews, operational reports, and strategic recommendations to leadership teams.
- Drive operational efficiency initiatives to improve profitability and cost structures.
Talent Management & HR Operations
- Lead workforce planning, talent forecasting, and recruitment operations to ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Partner with HR teams on key hiring initiatives, onboarding programs, performance frameworks, and employee engagement strategies.
- Design and deliver a best-in-class onboarding experience for new employees.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance, and people-centric work culture across teams.
Stakeholder & Governance Management
- Collaborate closely with leadership, delivery, finance, HR, procurement, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operational alignment.
- Manage stakeholder communication, governance reviews, and escalation management processes.
- Ensure compliance with operational policies, risk management frameworks, and internal governance standards.
- Maintain operational documentation, knowledge management systems, and internal communication processes.
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Evaluate, select, and manage operational tools, systems, and external vendors for specialized business services.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with trusted vendor and partner ecosystems.
- Ensure procurement processes align with operational and business objectives.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 12+ years of experience in operations, service delivery, or business operations roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Strong experience managing operations within marketing, communications, creative services, or IT services environments.
- Proven expertise in operational transformation, process optimization, and large-scale team management.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and cost structures.
- Experience driving SLA management, operational governance, and service delivery excellence.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
