Key Responsibilities:
Production & Operations Management
● Lead daily manufacturing operations for compression, tension, torsion springs, and wire forms.
● Ensure achievement of production targets, OTIF (On-Time-In-Full), and capacity utilization.
● Optimize production planning and scheduling to minimize downtime and maximize throughput.
● Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Quality & Compliance
● Ensure compliance with ISO / IATF standards (e.g., IATF 16949).
● Maintain strict quality controls across processes like:
● Drive zero-defect culture and reduce rejection rates.
● Handle customer audits and regulatory inspections.
Maintenance & NPD
● Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance of machinery.
● Ensure high equipment uptime (OEE improvement).
● Lead new equipment installation and plant modernization initiatives.
Supply Chain & Inventory Management
● Manage procurement of raw materials (spring steel wire, alloys).
● Optimize inventory levels and reduce carrying costs.
● Coordinate with vendors and logistics for timely material flow.
Cost Control & Profitability
● Drive cost reduction initiatives across operations.
● Monitor budgets, cost per unit, and operational expenses.
● Improve plant profitability through efficiency improvements.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
● Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental norms.
● Implement safety programs and reduce workplace incidents.
● Promote a zero-accident culture.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
● Interface with key customers (especially automotive OEMs).
● Ensure timely delivery and address customer complaints.
● Collaborate with R&D and sales for new product development.
