Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head – OEM Business Manager to lead our Microsoft-focused techno-sales initiatives, strengthen OEM partnerships, and drive business growth across SME and enterprise markets. This leadership role requires expertise in OEM engagement, enterprise sales, Microsoft licensing, ecosystem development, and revenue ownership, along with the ability to lead high-performing sales teams and strategic customer engagements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Microsoft Business & OEM Leadership
- Lead and expand the Microsoft business portfolio across multiple regions.
- Develop strategic relationships and alignment with Microsoft OEM stakeholders.
- Manage end-to-end OEM engagement, including Microsoft programs, incentives, and funding models.
- Drive OEM-led business initiatives to improve market reach and profitability.
2. Technical Sales & Ecosystem Development
- Build and strengthen the sales ecosystem through alliances, channel partners, and distributors.
- Develop and execute techno-commercial sales strategies aligned with Microsoft solutions.
- Position customer-centric, value-driven Microsoft offerings to address business challenges.
- Collaborate with technical teams for solution design, workshops, and customer enablement.
3. Market Segmentation & Business Growth
- Drive sales growth across SME (80%) and Enterprise (20%) commercial segments.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand the regional business footprint.
- Develop competitive strategies to enhance positioning within the Microsoft partner ecosystem.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to drive demand generation.
4. Team Leadership & Portfolio Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage Solution Sales Professionals (SSP) and Account Executives (AE).
- Set performance goals, monitor KPIs, and ensure revenue target achievement.
- Build a high-performance, customer-focused, and collaborative sales culture.
- Drive accountability and performance excellence within the team.
5. Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with:
- Internal sales teams
- OEM/Microsoft stakeholders
- End customers
- Drive customer workshops, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and solution discussions.
- Manage customer engagement through:
- Customer-funded initiatives
- Microsoft-funded programs
- Ensure long-term customer satisfaction and strategic account growth.
6. Revenue Ownership & Strategic Planning
- Own overall revenue targets, growth plans, and sales forecasting.
- Manage revenue streams across:
- Services (~20%)
- License & OEM Sales (~80%)
- Identify strategic opportunities to improve profitability and drive deal closures.
- Ensure strong business outcomes through effective pipeline and opportunity management.
7. Regional Business Operations
- Manage OEM business across regions such as West, North, and South India.
- Coordinate with regional stakeholders for business development initiatives.
- Travel as required for customer meetings, OEM discussions, and regional expansion.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10–15 years of experience in OEM sales, Microsoft ecosystem sales, or enterprise sales
- Strong expertise in:
- Microsoft licensing & cloud solutions
- OEM business models
- Channel sales & partner ecosystem
- Enterprise and SME sales strategies
- Proven track record in revenue growth, business development, and team leadership
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strategic thinking with a techno-commercial mindset
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities
- Experience in managing distributed teams and regional business operations
