Purpose of the Position:
As the Head of Network Development for Porsche India, this leadership role is responsible for shaping, expanding, and enhancing the Porsche dealer and service network footprint across the country, while ensuring alignment with Porsche’s global retail standards and brand positioning.
Job Responsibility:
- Strategic Network Planning: Develop and execute the Porsche India Network Development Plan by conducting market analysis to identify growth opportunities, white spots, and potential high-opportunity cities for future retail and service point expansion.
- Retail Standards Implementation: Ensure the rollout and execution of Porsche’s global retail, showroom, and service formats in India, focusing on delivering a consistent, premium customer experience across all touchpoints.
- Facility Development & Activation: Manage the planning, design, construction, and timely activation of new dealer facilities as per Porsche’s global corporate identity, retail guidelines, and customer experience standards. Drive adherence to Porsche’s premium architectural and retail space requirements.
- Budget Management: Lead the budgeting process for the Network Development function, ensuring optimal utilization of allocated funds for dealer development projects, network initiatives, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Dealer Appointment & Expansion: Lead the end-to-end process for identifying, evaluating, and appointing new dealer partners in alignment with Porsche’s global standards and India market strategy.
- Dealer Relationship Management: Maintain strong partnerships with dealer stakeholders. Manage sensitive network issues including dealer exits, ensuring all terminations and transitions are handled with full legal compliance and minimal business disruption.
- Systems and Technology Enablement: Support other business-critical initiatives including DMS (Dealer Management System) rollouts, dealer performance evaluations, and network digital transformation projects to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Dealer Financial Monitoring: Oversee the financial health of dealer partners by implementing periodic financial reporting, risk assessment, and profitability monitoring frameworks. Proactively identify and address financial risks across the dealer network.
