About The Role
Description of NEA department
The Network Evolution & Automation (NEA) team is dedicated to designing, supporting, and advancing innovative, reliable, and scalable IP network solutions to support Orange’s OB (Orange Business) and OWI (Orange Wholesale & Infrastructure) growth and digital transformation. The team plays a crucial role in defining network evolution strategies, delivering automation, and managing the lifecycle of network platforms.
As part of Network Evolution and Automation, Engineering & DevOps team is dedicated to deliver scalable, reliable, and innovative network solutions
through engineering excellence and automation practices. This involves managing the design, validation, deployment, and support of network infrastructure
in a DevOps environment, fostering collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement to support Orange's digital transformation and business growth.
Expectations:
- Leadership and team management : lead, organize, and expand the Engineering & DevOps teams, ensuring resilience, cross-skilling, and effective collaboration across geographically distributed teams.
- Strategic Planning and Execution : Define and drive strategic projects aligned with network evolution and digital transformation. Oversee the planning and prioritization of projects and activities.
- Operational Oversight : Ensure the delivery of high-quality engineering, validation, and operational support for network infrastructure, including incident management, troubleshooting, and deployment activities.
- Automation & DevOps : Promote and accelerate the adoption of DevOps practices and automation tools to improve operational efficiency, network resilience, and platform lifecycle management.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and manage resources effectively.
- Skills development and empowerment : foster a culture of continuous learning, cross-training, and empowerment within the teams to build autonomy and resilience
- Budget & Resource Management : Manage resources, budgets, and project timelines effectively to meet strategic objectives.

- Proven experience in network engineering, automation, and DevOps.
- Ability to manage and motivate a technical team
