Head Of Media Production
Location: Kochi / Calicut / Hybrid
Reporting to: Head of Creative Services & Operations
Works closely with: Sr. Creative Director, Account Management, Strategy, Clients

Role Overview
The Head of Media Production will own and lead all media production efforts across Xpresso Global’s client portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of creative direction, production execution, and team leadership.
You are expected to shape, sharpen, and elevate them.From concept to final cut, you ensure every production is on-brand, on-time, and on-point.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Leadership & Ownership
- Own end-to-end media production across multiple active clients
- Manage simultaneous productions without quality or timeline slippage
- Plan, schedule, and execute shoots (films, reels, photography, digital assets)
- Ensure smooth coordination between internal teams and external vendors
2. Creative Direction & Idea Vetting
- Collaborate with Creative Directors and Strategists during ideation
- Critically evaluate ideas brought in by the team — sharpen, elevate, or redirect
- Translate creative ideas into production-ready executions
- Ensure storytelling, visual language, and craft meet Xpresso standards
3. Team Management & Mentorship
- Lead and mentor the in-house media team (video, photography, editors)
- Allocate resources based on skill, complexity, and timelines
- Build second-line ownership within the production team
- Set quality benchmarks and review outputs consistently
4. Client & Stakeholder Interaction
- Participate in key client discussions related to production
- Confidently explain production decisions, constraints, and creative rationale
- Proactively flag risks, delays, or scope changes
- Build client confidence through clarity and preparedness
5. Quality Control & Delivery
- Own the final output quality before client delivery
- Ensure consistency across formats, platforms, and campaigns
- Reduce rework by enforcing clear briefs and review stages
- Maintain high craft standards across all productions
6. Production Operations & Process
- Work closely with HoCS to align production with overall creative ops
- Standardize production workflows, timelines, and review cycles
- Improve predictability in delivery without compromising creativity
- Maintain documentation for production learnings and best practices
