About Meadbery
Meadbery is a 7-year-old direct-to-consumer health supplements brand and the makers of Liver Detox — one of the most-trusted liver supplements on Amazon India. We manufacture in-house, run a profitable Shopify business, and operate a 150 team out of our offices in India. We are now expanding from a hero-SKU business to a multi-SKU nutraceutical portfolio across marketplaces.
About the Role
We are hiring a Head of Marketplaces to own Meadbery's Amazon India business end-to-end and lead our expansion to Flipkart, Tata 1mg, Apollo 24/7, and BigBasket in year two. You will take new SKUs from R&D handoff to Best Seller Badge within six months and build the operating system that allows us to launch a new SKU every 4 to 6 weeks profitably. You will report directly to the founder.
Key Responsibilities
- Own Amazon India P&L, with direct accountability for GMV growth and contribution margin per unit
- Lead new product launches end-to-end — listing creation, A+ Content, Brand Store, Premium A+ briefs, pricing strategy, deal calendar, and review velocity
- Architect and manage Amazon PPC campaigns (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Brand Video, Sponsored Display), either directly or through a managed agency
- Plan FBA and Easy Ship inventory in coordination with our manufacturing and warehouse teams
- Drive review velocity through Amazon Vine, post-purchase automation, Brand-Tailored Promotions, and influencer-led external traffic
- Run the Amazon deal calendar including Lightning Deals, Best Deals, Prime events, coupons, and Subscribe & Save
- Use Brand Analytics, Search Query Performance, and Search Catalog Performance to identify category white space and inform R&D priorities
- Lead expansion to Flipkart, Tata 1mg, Apollo 24/7, and BigBasket in year two
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience managing Amazon India for a direct-to-consumer brand
- Personally led the launch of at least 10 SKUs on Amazon India from zero to 100+ reviews
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Brand Analytics, Search Query Performance, Vine, and Brand Registry tooling
- Demonstrated ability to architect Amazon PPC campaign structures from scratch, with a clear grasp of TACoS, ACoS, and contribution margin
- Ability to read a P&L and own profitability metrics
- Intermediate to advanced Excel or Google Sheets
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience at Amazon India in a Category Manager or Vendor Manager role, or experience at leading indian D2C Health & Personal Care brands.
- Experience launching products in the health, nutraceutical, supplements, or wellness category
- Track record of driving external traffic to Amazon listings via influencer marketing and utilizing the Brand Referral Bonus program
- Experience scaling Subscribe & Save as a meaningful revenue channel
- Working knowledge of Helium 10, SellerApp, or Jungle Scout
