Head of Marketing — Epik

Who We Are
Epik is reimagining how India buys premium electronics.
We don't sell through stores. We don't sell through ads alone. We bring the product home — a 60-minute in-home demonstration for high-AOV electronics like TVs, soundbars, and laptops, and a luxury lifestyle vertical called Epik Select covering sunglasses, fragrances, and jewellery.
Our model is simple: experience first, purchase second. Trust is built in the customer's living room, not on a landing page.
We're scaling fast: new cities, new categories, new channels. And we need a marketing leader who can build the engine that fuels all of it.
The Role
This is a full-stack marketing leadership role; equal parts brand builder, performance marketer, and channel strategist.
You will own everything from the first impression a customer has of Epik to the moment they book a demo, experience it, and come back for more. Online and offline. Acquisition and retention. Top of funnel and bottom of funnel.
You will report directly to the founder and be the first dedicated marketing leader at Epik. This means you will build the function — the team, the playbook, the stack, the culture — from the ground up.

What You'll Own
Performance & Growth
- Own CAC across all paid and organic channels — Meta, Google, YouTube, influencer, and referral
- Drive ROAS optimisation across campaigns with a relentless focus on demo booking as the primary conversion event
- Build and manage channel P&Ls including channel margin — knowing exactly what each rupee spent returns at the demo and post-demo stage
- Run continuous A/B testing on creatives, audiences, landing pages, and offer structures
- Scale what works. Kill what doesn't. Fast.
Brand & Content
- Define and protect Epik's brand voice across every touchpoint — digital, physical, and human
- Build a content engine that drives organic discovery, social proof, and aspiration across Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn
- Develop campaign narratives that make the in-home demo model feel premium, trustworthy, and unmissable
- Own influencer and creator partnerships — from macro campaigns to hyperlocal micro-influencer activations in target pin codes
Offline & Activations
- Design and execute on-ground activations — residential society events, corporate gifting drives, premium apartment complex partnerships, and new homeowner campaigns
- Build co-marketing relationships with interior designers, real estate developers, and premium lifestyle brands
- Own the end-to-end event and experiential marketing calendar — from concept to execution to post-event ROI measurement
CRM & Retention
- Build Epik's lifecycle marketing stack from scratch — email, WhatsApp, and SMS flows across the full customer journey
- Own NPS as a north star metric — measuring experience quality at every stage from booking to demo to post-purchase
- Design re-engagement and referral programmes that turn happy demo customers into Epik's most effective growth channel
- Develop loyalty and upsell frameworks for Epik Select — cross-selling across electronics and lifestyle verticals
Team & Agency Management
- Hire and lead a lean in-house marketing team — content, performance, and CRM
- Manage agency and vendor relationships — creative, media buying, influencer, and PR
- Build the marketing tech stack — attribution tools, CRM platform, analytics dashboard, and reporting infrastructure

Who You Are
- 7–10 years in marketing with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record running performance marketing at scale — you've personally managed significant Meta and Google budgets and have the ROAS receipts to show for it
- Equal comfort in a boardroom and on the ground — you've run offline activations and know what good on-ground execution looks like
- Obsessive about data but instinctive about brand — you can read a dashboard and write a brief with equal confidence
- Experience in a high-AOV, considered-purchase category is a strong plus — consumer electronics, luxury, real estate, automotive, or financial products
- CRM and lifecycle marketing experience — you've built flows, not just briefed agencies to do it
- Startup experience is essential — you've built something from scratch and you know what it means to move fast with limited resources
- Based in Bangalore or willing to relocate immediately
Bonus Points
- Experience marketing a new-to-India or new-to-category concept — you've had to explain a model before selling it
- Prior work with premium electronics, lifestyle, or home category brands
- Built and managed an in-house influencer programme
- Familiarity with Bangalore's premium consumer geography — HSR, Indiranagar, Whitefield, Koramangala, Sarjapur
