About the Company
Futurecom Technologies Pvt. Ltd. operates SteelBazaar, India’s first AI-agentic B2B platform built for the ₹10 lakh crore steel ecosystem.
The platform integrates the entire steel value chain—from procurement and processing to scrap recycling, plant & equipment, logistics, and embedded working capital financing.
SteelBazaar is not a marketplace directory—it is being built as the digital operating system for the steel industry, enabling seamless transactions, discovery, and supply chain efficiency at scale.
Role Overview
We are hiring a Head of Marketing to build and lead the marketing function from the ground up. This is a high-impact, zero-to-one leadership role with full ownership of strategy, execution, team building, and outcomes.
The core mandate is clear:
👉 Drive qualified lead generation at scale while building a strong, defensible brand across India’s industrial ecosystem.
This role requires a blend of performance marketing, AI-led growth systems, on-ground execution, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Growth Ownership
- Own the monthly qualified lead generation target for Platform Sales
- Design and scale multi-channel demand generation strategies
- Optimize cost per lead (CPL) and conversion across the funnel
2. AI-Led Marketing Systems
- Deploy and scale AI SDR agents and agentic workflows
- Build automated lead qualification and nurturing systems
- Integrate AI tools across CRM, campaigns, and customer journeys
3. WhatsApp & Conversational Marketing
- Own WhatsApp Business API ecosystem (broadcasts, automation, chatbots)
- Drive click-to-WhatsApp campaigns for MSME acquisition
- Build conversational funnels for lead capture and engagement
4. Performance & Digital Marketing
- Lead campaigns across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and programmatic channels
- Drive ROI-focused campaign optimization and attribution tracking
- Scale paid channels while maintaining efficiency
5. SEO & Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
- Build organic visibility across search and AI-driven discovery platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude)
- Own long-term inbound growth strategy
6. Brand, Content & Creative
- Build the SteelBazaar brand from the ground up
- Lead content strategy across video, social, and thought leadership
- Establish a strong digital and offline brand presence
7. Events & On-Ground Marketing
- Design and execute cluster-based marketing strategies across key steel hubs
- Lead exhibitions, trade events, and local activations
- Drive brand visibility and lead generation through offline channels
8. Team Building & Leadership
- Hire, train, and lead a high-performing team (8–12 members)
- Establish clear KPIs, processes, and performance culture
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Leadership teams
Success Metrics (KPIs)
- Monthly qualified lead volume (primary metric)
- Cost per qualified lead & cost per paid member
- AI-driven lead contribution (target 40%+ within 12 months)
- WhatsApp and chatbot-led conversions
- Brand recall across target industrial clusters
- Execution of 40–50 on-ground activations annually
Candidate Profile
Must-Have
- 12+ years of experience in B2B marketing leadership roles
- Proven track record of owning and delivering lead generation targets
- Experience in industrial, commodity, or platform-led businesses (steel, construction, chemicals, logistics, etc.)
- Strong team management experience (6+ team members)
Preferred
- Hands-on experience with AI-driven marketing tools and automation platforms
- Expertise in WhatsApp marketing, chatbots, and CRM-led growth systems
- Strong understanding of performance marketing and attribution models
- Experience building marketing functions or scaling from early-stage setups
