The Opportunity
We are seeking an exceptional Head of Marketing & Admissions to lead the school's brand strategy, student recruitment, enrolment growth, and admissions operations. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for building and executing a comprehensive marketing and admissions strategy that elevates the prestige of Queen Elizabeth’s School, drives sustainable enrolment growth, and delivers an exceptional experience for prospective families. The successful candidate will combine strategic marketing expertise with strong admissions leadership, leveraging data, technology, partnerships, events, and customer experience excellence to position Queen Elizabeth’s School as one of the most sought-after international schools in the region. As a key member of the leadership team, the Head of Marketing & Admissions will play a critical role in achieving the school's growth objectives while safeguarding and enhancing the reputation of the Queen Elizabeth’s brand.
The Role
Strategic Marketing & Admissions Leadership
- Develop and execute the annual marketing and admissions strategy aligned with school growth plans and enrolment targets.
- Lead market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and parent research to identify opportunities and strengthen market positioning.
- Forecast enrolment trends and develop data-driven action plans to achieve growth objectives.
- Establish annual budgets and allocate resources effectively across marketing and admissions functions.
- Develop policies, processes, and service standards that ensure excellence across all admissions and marketing activities.
Brand Leadership
- Champion and protect the Queen Elizabeth’s School brand identity across all touchpoints.
- Ensure all communications reflect the heritage, values, and academic excellence of the school.
- Oversee tone of voice, visual identity, messaging, and brand consistency.
- Maintain high standards across all internal and external communications.
Admissions Management
- Lead and oversee the entire admissions cycle from enquiry to enrolment.
- Develop and implement admissions strategies to achieve enrolment targets.
- Monitor admissions pipeline performance and conversion metrics.
- Ensure a responsive, parent-focused, and premium admissions experience.
- Work closely with academic leadership regarding assessments, interviews, offers, and enrolment decisions.
- Ensure consistency and excellence across all admissions processes.
Parent Engagement & Relationship Management
- Build meaningful relationships with prospective families and key stakeholders.
- Establish exceptional service standards across every admissions touchpoint.
- Oversee school tours, open days, information sessions, orientation programmes, and parent engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with academic teams to ensure admissions staff can effectively communicate the school's curriculum, culture, and unique strengths.
- Develop strategies to improve parent satisfaction, retention, and advocacy.
Digital Marketing & Lead Generation
- Drive excellence across all digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, paid advertising, social media, email marketing, and website optimisation.
- Develop lead-generation campaigns aligned with admissions targets.
- Oversee website performance, conversion optimisation, analytics, and user experience.
- Ensure robust tracking, attribution, reporting, and campaign performance measurement.
Artificial Intelligence & Marketing Innovation
- Integrate AI-powered tools to improve content creation, personalisation, reporting, campaign optimisation, and operational efficiency.
- Develop governance frameworks to ensure responsible and compliant use of AI.
- Identify emerging technologies and best practices to strengthen marketing and admissions performance.
Out-of-Home (OOH) & Brand Campaigns
- Plan and execute large-scale outdoor campaigns across premium locations including billboards, metro stations, transit media, malls, airports, and digital screens.
- Manage campaign planning, creative development, media buying, implementation, and evaluation.
- Conduct post-campaign analysis including brand-lift, reach, and ROI assessments.
Product Marketing
- Develop compelling value propositions for academic programmes, co-curricular activities, and student outcomes.
- Create marketing narratives, content, and promotional campaigns that resonate with prospective families.
- Collaborate with academic leaders to showcase student achievements and educational excellence.
Partnerships & Business Development
- Develop strategic partnerships with corporates, relocation agencies, embassies, educational consultants, feeder schools, and community organisations.
- Represent Queen Elizabeth’s School at educational fairs, conferences, networking events, and community engagements.
- Build referral programmes and local partnerships to support enrolment growth.
Events Management
- Lead the planning and execution of Open Days, Parent Information Sessions, Education Fairs, Exhibitions, Orientation Programmes, and Community Events.
- Ensure all events reflect the prestige, hospitality, and excellence of the Queen Elizabeth’s brand.
- Evaluate event effectiveness and optimise future engagement strategies.
Data, CRM & Reporting
- Oversee CRM management, admissions reporting, and data governance.
- Monitor admissions funnel performance and marketing ROI.
- Prepare regular reports for senior leadership on admissions performance, enrolment forecasts, campaign effectiveness, and market trends.
- Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
Compliance, Safeguarding & Governance
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, admissions, marketing, and data protection regulations.
- Maintain transparent approval processes and accurate records.
- Uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Marketing & Admissions teams.
- Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance expectations.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and excellence.
- Manage agency relationships, consultants, vendors, and external partners.
The Person
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
- Additional qualifications in Digital Marketing, Brand Management, Admissions Management, or CRM systems would be advantageous.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in marketing, admissions, student recruitment, business development, or related functions.
- Years of experience in marketing, admissions, student recruitment, business development, or related functions within premium K-12 schools.
- At least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of achieving enrolment growth and revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum for England, Cambridge International Curriculum, and the international school landscape.
- Demonstrated success in digital marketing, admissions management, CRM systems, AI implementation, and stakeholder engagement.
