We are looking for an experienced professional to lead the maintenance function for our mining operations, ensuring high equipment availability, safety, and operational efficiency across all plant and heavy machinery.
Role Description
Lead end-to-end maintenance of mining equipment including crushers, excavators, loaders, conveyors, drilling equipment, and allied plant machinery
Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance strategies
Ensure maximum equipment uptime and optimize maintenance costs
Oversee troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
Manage maintenance planning, spares inventory, and vendor relationships
Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, statutory compliance, and mining regulations
Lead, train, and develop the maintenance team across site operations
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 10–18 years of experience in mining, quarrying, or heavy industry
- Strong exposure to heavy earthmoving machinery and crushing plants
- Proven leadership in handling large maintenance teams and site operations
- Good understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance in mining.
- Travelling will be an essential part in this job role which will be recurring in nature.
