Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head of Legal based in Mumbai. The Head of Legal will oversee legal compliance, manage legal risks, offer expert legal advice, and ensure the organization adheres to applicable laws and regulations. Responsibilities also include preparing clear and comprehensive legal documents, advising on legal issues, and collaborating with stakeholders for policy formulation and implementation.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Law and a proven ability to interpret and apply legal principles effectively.
- Proficiency in ensuring Legal Compliance and addressing legal issues within complex organizational structures.
- Experience in Legal Consulting, offering actionable and strategic advice to key stakeholders.
- Skill in Legal Document Preparation and reviewing contracts, agreements, and regulatory filings.
- Advanced understanding of legal concepts and the ability to guide diverse teams on navigating legal frameworks.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Leadership experience in a legal department or similar capacity is preferred.
- Law degree and membership in a recognized legal association or bar council.
